Make one complete piece before you make a set
The first one tells you what the STL cannot: how your printer resolves the small details, how your materials behave at this size, and whether the fit suits the jewellery you actually make.1. Choose the height
Measure from the hook or post where it will sit in the T-Bar hole to the bottom edge of the earring. Use Mini for studs, huggies, and tiny drops (about 65 mm clearance). Use Short for small drops and huggies (111 mm), Medium for most dangles (141 mm), and Tall for long lightweight pieces (181 mm).
2. Choose the style and base
Straight has one 36 mm hole pair. Softwave adds a 54 mm outer pair and a curved profile. Use Full with every height, Compact Round with Mini, Short, or Medium, and Slim with Mini or Short.
3. Join the keyed fit
Line up the flat side of the insert connector with the flat side of the socket. Press straight down by hand until the shoulder meets the raised support. Keep every part at 100 percent scale.
4. Load and check one pair
Place the earring posts, hooks, hoops, or sleepers through one pair of holes at the top of the T-Bar. Fasten stud backs behind the bar, then check clearance and balance on the table, shelf, or photo surface you will use.

Make it part of the collection
Build a repeatable display system
For a playful two-colour set, try an Army Green base with a Sakura Pink insert. Repeat the same pairing across the collection so the display feels intentional.
For a quiet neutral display, 3D print both parts in Black or White so colourful, metallic, or detailed earrings stay the focus.
Use a contrasting stand and background when you want the display to feel bold. Choose a stand colour close to the background when you want the stand to recede.
You can also keep the base neutral and repeat a collection colour on each insert. Test one assembled sample under the same light used for photos or displays.
For listing photos, keep the stand colour, background, crop, and camera angle consistent. For a market table or shop shelf, place Mini and Short stands at the front, Medium through the centre, and Tall at the back.

What exactly do I receive?

Which stand should I 3D print first?
Start with one Mini insert and the Compact Round base. It is the quickest recommended combination to 3D print and lets you check the push-fit, 3D-printed holes, earring clearance, and display-surface balance before making the rest.
Will every earring fit?
No universal finding fit is promised. The holes are modelled at 2.2 mm, but 3D-printed size varies. 3D print one Mini insert and check your exact posts, hooks, hoops, or sleepers before making a batch. Clip-on fittings and heavy jewellery are not promised to fit.
Which colour should I choose?
Try Army Green with Sakura Pink for a playful two-colour set, Black or White for a neutral display, or a colour from your collection when the stand should be part of the styling. Photograph one test stand with the real earrings and backdrop before 3D printing the batch.
Can I use these at a market stall?
Yes, after checking the exact loaded stand on the real table. For hotter outdoor-market conditions, start with a higher-temperature, weather-resistant material such as Bambu Lab ASA. 3D print ASA in an enclosed 3D printer in a well-ventilated area, then test the finished setup for heat, wind, table movement, and surface stability rather than relying on the stand alone.
Can I sell the 3D-printed stands?
No. The maker licence lets you use them in your own jewellery business, photos, and market display, but not sell or give away the 3D-printed stands or digital files.
Can I use a 3D printing service?
Yes. You may send the files to a service for a private 3D print for your own use, provided the service does not keep, share, or resell the files or 3D-printed stands.
Can I resize the parts?
Keep every file at 100 percent. Scaling changes the shared push-fit and the earring holes.
