What you can make
Cut and pressed in one go, then finished with a glue-on bail, magnet or pin back (not included).
The same cut-and-press piece, finished with the findings you choose.
A couple's monogram or a party emblem on favour keychains, magnets and earring cards.
Your own band or artist name, or one you have written permission to use.
Every letter cut free and set on a backing in your colours: a studio sign, a family name for indoors, or a 90 mm table or shelf sign.
Plus what the Custom Clay Stamp Set makes: branded cards, gift tags, wedding and Christmas cards, and a mark on the back of larger pieces.
The tools
Your download
Card stamps, badge cutters of about 15, 25 and 54 mm, a maker's mark stamp for pieces about 45 mm and larger, and our full Earring Display Card and Cutter Kit files. A maker's mark is a small stamp you press into the back of your pieces, like an artist's signature. The Medium full-design stamp needs a 0.2 mm nozzle, resin or a fine-detail 3D printing service. Orders for a 0.4 mm nozzle also receive a Medium monogram stamp.
Cuts the piece and presses your design in one go, for keychains, pendants, magnets, statement earrings, bag charms, brooches and ornaments.
Cut tight round your design in two looks: raised, where only your letters or lines stand up, and pressed, where your design sinks in.
Cut a base in a second colour and lay the raised piece on it, so a rim of that colour frames your design.
Cuts every letter or solid shape out as its own piece in one press, with the holes in letters like a, e and B cut through.
Matching backing cutters at 90, 115 and 150 mm. The 115 and 150 mm signs hang from a 3D-printed keyhole hanger glued to the back, on a 3D-printed wall stud you fix to the wall; both files are included. The 90 mm sign sits on a table or shelf.
A one-page illustrated making note, hanging notes for the 115 and 150 mm signs, and a maker licence to sell or gift the clay pieces you make.
Made from your design
Your logo, initials, a short message or a bold line drawing. For words, type the exact text and we set it in a clean, open-licence font. If your design has no letters, tell us the initials for the Small card and maker's mark. Send a PDF or a sharp PNG in Etsy Messages straight after ordering. Export an SVG as a PDF to attach it. If checkout offers a file upload, you may use it instead.
We tell you if any detail needs simplifying to cut and press clearly. If your design can't work, you get a full refund.
Preview images of every tool and size. Two rounds of changes are included.
Your STL files, the card kit files, the wall hanger and stud STL files, and a one-page making note, ready to download.
Your design
A shop logo, initials or a monogram, a name or short message, a wedding or event emblem, or a bold line drawing. Solid shapes and bold lines press best. SVG or PDF is ideal; a sharp, high-contrast PNG works too.
One or two short lines of about 8 to 12 letters on cards and 50 mm pieces, and about 13 letters a line on the 150 mm sign. Small cards carry your initials or a monogram. A monogram is your initials, made from your own logo's letters.
The letter-cut cutter suits lettering and solid shapes. Line drawings use the stamps and the cut-and-press and contour cutters.
Photos, gradients and shading. A bold line drawing of the same idea can.
Send only a design you made, had made for you, or have written permission to use. We can't make tools from another business's logo, a band, team or school you don't represent, a character, a famous person, or another maker's design.
We never sell, publish or show files made from your design without your written permission. One design per order.
Opens our request form with this kit already picked. Tell us about your design and how you 3D print, and we'll reply with next steps.
Maker workflow
Press the cut-and-press cutter into a rolled slab and lift out a piece with your design already in it. Add a glue-on bail, magnet or pin back to the flat back.
Cut the raised contour piece and a base in a second colour, then lay the raised piece on the base by hand.
Cut the letters and backing from separate clay slabs. Bake them separately, let them cool, then glue the letters into the backing’s guide outlines.
Glue the 3D-printed hanger to the back of a 115 or 150 mm sign and hook it over the 3D-printed wall stud. The hanging notes show where it goes.
Before you start
Keep the making setup practical
Sizes are measured along the longest side; the full design starts at 50 mm so it still reads.
Lift every stamp and cutter off the clay before it goes in the oven.
3D-printed tools are not toys and not food safe.
3D printing setup
We build the files from your design for the 3D printer you tell us: a 0.4 mm nozzle with PLA, a 0.2 mm nozzle, or resin. A 3D printing service gets the 0.4 mm versions.
The card kit files are our standard FDM files. If you 3D print with resin, make those on an FDM 3D printer or through a 3D printing service.
3D print every file at 100 percent scale. 3D print the Small card stamp first and press it into scrap clay: it is the smallest stamp in the set, so it shows quickly whether your 3D printer holds the detail.
Before you 3D print
No. Initials, a short message or a bold line drawing can work too. Send a design you own or may use; we check its detail and size before making your tools and refund the order if it cannot work.
No, a photo can't become a stamp. A bold line drawing of the same idea can.
Yes, if it is your band or you have written permission from the band.
No. Keychains, pendants and drop earrings hang from a glue-on bail on the flat back, so no cutter punches a hole.
Yes. A 115 or 150 mm sign may go with its 3D-printed hanger glued on and the 3D-printed wall stud that holds it, never either part on its own.
Not in this order: it is one design per order. A couple's monogram or the year works for every guest's card.
Yes. Its 9 files come unchanged with every order, so you will receive them again.
3D print the tools for your own making, or have a service 3D print them for you, and sell or gift the finished clay pieces. Files, 3D-printed tools and 3D-printed cards stay with you. A finished sign may go with its glued-on 3D-printed hanger and matching wall stud, never either part on its own.
Yes. The Custom Clay Stamp Set has the card stamps, badge cutters and maker's mark, with the full card kit.
