Your download
One shared base and cap with two identical tree channels.
Recessed lid gauges, batch-log notch and ruler, plus a 3D-printable sizing card.
Complete making and 3D printing guide, part list and licence. The supplied 3MF is an arranged geometry layout with archive notes, not a validated 3D printer process profile.
Maker workflow
For each 15 mm tree, cut a 15.3 mm disc from a 2.5 mm slab, or cut a 10 mm clay log to 5.9 mm. Repeat for the second tree. About 0.60 g per tree is an estimate, not a guaranteed weight.
Flip the cap front edge to back so the deep parts of its trough match those in the base. The symmetric rails also accept the reversed orientation, so check before pressing.
Pre-form two cones with pinched tails. Place one in each trough with both trunks toward the trunk ends. Use one-direction strokes along the tray and quarter-turn each tree between sets. Let the trees rest or chill before lifting their fine edges.
Choose matching findings or pilot each tree along its axis while the cap is flush. Use a straight pin at least 40 mm long and no more than 1.0 mm thick, entering from the tray end nearer that tree. Twist gently. The roller shapes solid trees; it does not make a hole by itself. Remove clay from the 3D-printed tool before baking and follow the clay brand guidance.
Before you start
Keep the making setup practical
Test the measured portion with scrap clay before making a batch.
Use light pressure and stop if the slide binds.
Remove clay after use with a soft brush or cloth, wipe clean and dry. Do not heat the 3D-printed tool.
3D printing setup
0.4 mm nozzle; PETG preferred, PLA also supported. 3D print both trays flat with troughs facing up and the cap lid on the bed. Use 0.28 mm body layers with adaptive layers to 0.08 mm or finer over the troughs, a 0.20 mm first layer, 3 walls, 1.0 mm top and bottom, 10 to 15 percent gyroid or lightning infill, and supports off.
Confirm the troughs remain open in slicer preview. 3D print one matching assembly first and check free sliding before using clay. The intended side clearance is 0.30 mm per side; this is not a snap fit.
The current 3D print recipe and final operation evidence remain under review. Preview renders do not establish physical performance.
Before you 3D print
No. This is a preview of digital STL files and a guide. You will need to arrange 3D printing and supply the making materials.

The canonical Maker Licence allows sale of finished polymer clay pieces and excludes resale or sharing of the files and 3D-printed tools. A future eligible Print & Sell member delivery uses its own Member Licence. This preview does not grant access or resale rights.
The completed download will include the full guide, file list and applicable licence. Use the support route supplied with the delivery you actually receive. This preview offers no download or checkout.
